My delay in detailing recent
activities is due to the fact that I have been extremely
involved in recent activities. While John Arnold
continues to do a great job, blame me for lack of new
story material and graphics on my web site.
As I continue to record new material with my long time
friend
Marc Bonilla, the accomplished guitarist/singer who
is producing my new album in conjunction with the long-term auspices of
Keith Wechsler, you will soon be able to
witness this new development through MySpace and
YouTube.

Meanwhile, check out the new
section on my website,
"EM-COUNTERS"
in which I talk about recent inspiring meetings, and
where you can view new photos.

KeithEmerson.com may be moving in early June to a new
hosting provider. The goal of this move is to provide
more disk space and more bandwidth. During the move, the
DNS records for the site may change. This could cause
some temporary access problems with the web site. If you
encounter a situation where the site can not be found
from your browser, please wait for a little while and
try again. The DNS changes that may be necessary are
usually resolved in a few minutes but may take longer
for some internet service providers.

Keith Emerson will be appearing again on Italy
TV - channel RAI 1. Here's the info that was
received today:
"Keith Emerson will guest star once more on the
Italian main national television channel RAI 1!
'Concerto dell'Epifania' is a morning show
broadcast yearly on 6th January at 9.30am CET
(Central European Time). Guests of previous
editions have included Andrea Bocelli, Tony
Hadley, Ian Anderson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, etc.
with an average audience of over 4 millions
viewers. This year's co-headliner with Keith
will be the international jazz singer Dianne
Reeves. The show will also see Yusuf Islam
(formerly Cat Stevens) collecting the 2006 Peace
Award.
Keith will play his Italian hit 'Honky Tonk
Train Blues' live with a 52-piece orchestra. He
will also play - for the very first time - his
own arrangement of Alberto Ginastera's 'Malambo'
for piano and full orchestra!
So this TV show is even more unmissable than the
previous show from Italy in November! In some
areas outside Italy, this channel is available
via satellite."
[ Note: According to the
program guide at rai.it, the start time
is 9:40 am. ]

Italian charts for months.

21 September 2006
In August,
after being awarded a lifetime achievement award by the
Moog Foundation, Keith Emerson was named to the Advisory
Board of the Moog Foundation. Keith is proud to remember
Bob Moog with this honor, noting that "Bob provided the
electricity" in my life. Keith's rig, featuring one of
the earliest Moog synthesizers is legendary. He
pioneered the instrument's use and musicians all over
the world try to emulate his skill.

Attention UK
Fans! We've learned that the Astoria
has mistakenly listed the Keith Emerson Band
show (July 20) as sold out. Lucky for you,
while tickets have been flying fast out the
door, the show is still available! We have
added
a different link
to the Astoria show on the
2006
Tour page,
which should allow you to order tickets. Please
email
webmaster@keithemerson.com
if you continue to have any problems ordering
tickets for this show.
We apologize
for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing
you at the Astoria!
Other changes
noted include a date change to the Budapest
(Hungary) show - now July 5.
Also, we are pleased to announce that the
Wiesen festival actually takes place in two
cities. That means even more fans will have the
opportunity to see the Keith Emerson Band in
action. In fact, on July 8th, Keith will
headline the Legends of Rock in the city of
Clam. The July 7th date is the same, so if you
already have tickets, no worries!

We're pleased to announce the July dates of
