(August 17, 2003) The official Keith Emerson web site, keithemerson.com, is under new management. The new
arrangement between Keith and
Linkage Systems Corporation will allow the site to provide
regular updates to Keith's Activities, including official news about the newly released autobiography
('Pictures of an Exhibitionist'), tour dates, etc. Soon, the online Keith Emerson
store will also come back to life, giving fans a trusted source of hard-to-find products and the
occasional one-of-a-kind collectibles from Keith's personal collection.
For Emerson/ELP fans, this means that keithemerson.com will once again become THE source for
official news about Keith's work. The rejuvenated web site will include regular updates with
"news from Keith" and other features that are in the planning stages.
Though the Linkage Systems name may be new to Emerson fans, its connection to Emerson and ELP is not.
Linkage Systems is a software company founded by John Arnold, a co-founder of the
ELP Digest in 1991. The ELP Digest was the Internet's first ELP email
newsletter and provided the Internet's first ELP web site (now located at
www.brain-salad.com). The ELP Digest is and will remain a free,
independent, fan-based vehicle for fans of ELP (the band and the individual members) to share their enthusiasm
and enjoyment of the music of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Carl Palmer. John and his company are mixing business
with pleasure as they work directly with Keith to re-instill fan confidence and interest in the keithemerson.com
web site and to link Keith with his fans.
Thanks to everyone who has helped with the transition of the site to its new home and special thanks
to the fans for their patience and continued support. Please visit the keithemerson.com site soon and let us know
how to make it a better Internet destination for fans around the world!
