EMO PLAYS WITH BIG BAND 
On the evening of Monday, October 29th, I will have the opportunity to re-discover my big band roots by way of sitting in with
"Bruce Lofgren and The Afterburners" at Typhoon restaurant in Santa Monica. It will be a marvelous privilege playing with such great musicianship as we perform arrangements of a few familiar pieces. This is going to be a BLAST!

Hey, this should be fun. Rick Wakeman, Chris Squire, Simon Kirke and I all playing together for the first time on 26th of November at the O2 stadium..... wherever that is. We've always known each other as mates but never actually played together before. The four of us gave moderate consideration to passes for the Led Zep Reunion, but apparently we have to play on the show in order to earn such "privilege". So to coin an old tune sung by Nat King Cole, "...this could be the end of a beautiful friendship and just the beginning of love." Of course, we were all too young to remember that one, but we all remember Ahmet Ertegun with great love and respect.
